 Angela is responsible for providing direction, leadership, coordination, and evaluation of programs to advance Health and Student Wellness initiatives; oversees the planning, implementation, and evaluation of theory-based and evidence informed health promotion strategies, policies, programs and services; collaborates with key stakeholders within the university faculty, staff, and off campus agencies to develop a comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach to health for students; provides oversight for programs; and oversees and maintains standards with AAAHC and CAS and is responsible for Health and Wellness policies and procedures.

Shawna develops, implements, and evaluates health education and wellness programs for students; collaborates with other staff in the unit and those in related units on campus in program development and delivery; and provides educational outreach on college health issues including those intended to reduce harm and improve overall well-being with priority focus placed upon alcohol and other drugs, sexual health, sleep, stress management, and holistic well-being. Shawna also serves as a Wellness Coach, and works one-on-one with students to help them create the life they want by setting wellness goals.

Sydney Thelen serves as a second year graduate assistant for Student Wellness Services. Her focus is to facilitate requested wellness programs in a variety of settings and with various target populations (academic classes, sororities/fraternities, student organizations, first-year students, etc.) regarding wellness topics that significantly impact student success (stress, sexual health, sleep, alcohol and other drugs, etc.); provide one-on-one Wellness Coaching sessions for students; advertise events/programs/campaigns through social media marketing and electronic media; and plan, implement, and actively participate at wellness events (i.e. De-Stress Days, Wellness BINGO).

Hallie Starr serves as a first year graduate assistant for Student Wellness Services.
